Assignment 2 – test shots

As the sun was shining today I nipped out at lunch to try and take a few shots. The light was a bit patchy with the sun being obscured by clouds but as there was quite a stiff breeze these moved quite quickly. I was trying to capture scenes around the development where I live that in part document the development and also fit in with my concept of light being a metaphor for optimism. I have been struggling to get to grips with this assignment, partly because of lockdown but mostly because it is out of my comfort zone; I find it difficult to translate abstract ideas into images.
